Meet SFL Founder, Liba Yoffe

Liba is a fitness industry expert, ninja warrior and, most importantly, a mom of four lively kiddos. She founded SPIRIT FIT LIFE after years of working with women in her various roles as a gym owner, child educator and doula. During that time, she became increasingly concerned about how aspects of diet and health ‘culture’ damaged the minds and hearts of its many devotees. Liba is passionate about empowering women at every stage of their lives. In creating SFL, she formulated a brand new approach to women’s physical and emotional health that is meaningful and long-lasting, one that in a few short years has had a massive impact on the lives of hundreds of SFL clients all over the world.

Maya

Maya is SFL’s mindset director who teaches us how to be mindful and present in her wise, calm way. A licensed social worker, Maya is also a certified Zumba instructor and a busy mom of five with a lifelong interest in fitness, dance, and health. She believes that we all have the power within to heal, grow and thrive. As a coach, she likes to assist women on their journey of creating a vision for themselves and to identify the habits that will support their vision.

Sarah

Sarah brings her warm and outgoing personality to the table and her hunger for growth. She is an AFAA-certified personal trainer, fitness and Pilates instructor, FitForBirth pre-/post-natal corrective exercise specialist, and a busy mom of three. She is a long-distance runner and recently completed her first marathon. Her specialty is coaching our members with diastasis recti healing, achieving fit pregnancies and healthy postpartum recovery. Sarah has helped women of all levels and ages to set and meet their personal goals, including losing weight, gaining strength, improving sleep, reducing low back pain, and feeling more confident overall.

Mushkie

Mushkie is our indispensable head of operations as well as a coach. She is an NASM-certified personal trainer as well as a DONA-trained doula. She is passionate about helping women feel strong mentally and physically and has worked with women in many stages of life. Mushkie fervently believes that women are worthy of self-care and of feeling great in their bodies; that confident woman can accomplish anything; and that strong women will change the world. She is the proud mom of three little girls whom she is raising to be strong, kind, and confident!

Jessie

Jessie heads our holistic nutrition program and is our team’s breath of fresh air. As a Registered Dietitian, she brings to SFL a holistic nutrition philosophy and joins women on their journey to health with a personalized, kind, and positive approach. She has two separate master’s degrees, one in in clinical nutrition and another in nutrition and education. Jessie is an avid mountain biker and martial artist, and a mom to three adorable children. She can frequently be found exploring the outdoors with her family.
