Pregnancy and Beyond

As women, we have the unique gift, power, and great responsibility of bringing life into the world.

The Spirit Fit Pregnancy & Beyond program is designed for women in their childbearing years. The program is highly customized for each woman and is based on a woman’s particular health history, emotional energy, family dynamics, and personal schedule, among many other criteria.

The knowledge that pregnancy is a beautiful and special process does not take away from the indisputable feeling that the changes our bodies undergo to house our child can be daunting and even difficult.

Even as we experience the beauty of pregnancy, there are many emotional and psychological challenges that we endure, alongside a host of changes to our bodies – including an expanding belly, weight gain, an enlarged uterus, morning sickness, backaches, changes in gait and posture, changes in sensory feedback, and many other numerous anatomical, physiological, and hormonal changes.

It's important to understand that support during each stage of this time is vital. The Pregnancy & Beyond program offers a high level of daily support to each of our members and is the reason for the success of this invaluable program.

Dr. Barry Dinner MBBCH, ABAARM

Dr. Barry Dinner is a graduate of the highly esteemed South African University of Witwatersrand’s (WITS) Medical School and his career spans more than thirty-three years, in which he developed sophisticated and advanced pro-active programs for preventive medicine in family practices, as well as serving as medical director for a 500-bed geriatrics hospital. Moreover, Dr. Dinner founded the highly successful Corporate Stress Institute of SA, having partnered with acclaimed psychology professors at the WITS School of Business in order to devise a program which combined both stress and health management. After having practiced a wide range of medical disciplines, such as internal medicine, psychiatry, pediatrics, dermatology, obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Dinner completed his fellowship in anti-aging and regenerative medicine with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine in 2010.

Business Coaching

Spirit Fit Life Business Coaching is an exclusive mentoring program offered by SFL CEO Liba Yoffe, a busy mom of four young children, an active member of her local business community, and a lifelong athlete who most recently was tapped to appear in season XIII of American Ninja Warrior. In under 2 years, she took her vision for what SFL should be and made it a reality, in the process creating a multi six-figure company with an international membership of hundreds of women, a dynamic staff of coaches and support professionals, and an engaged and thriving social media presence.

Liba is all about supporting women and paying it forward. She is ready to share the invaluable experience she has accrued through her journey with other entrepreneurial women who are similarly determined and committed to building a successful and profitable business venture.

The Business Coaching program is a rare opportunity for a serious entrepreneur to be personally coached by a successful, self-made CEO!

The Diastasis Recti Healing Program

The Diastasis Recti Healing Program is one of SFL’s most rewarding, in that it has succeeded in helping scores of women to heal their suffering from diastasis recti.

Diastasis recti is the partial or complete separation of the rectus abdominis, or ‘six-pack’ muscles, which meet at the midline of your stomach. Diastasis recti is very common during and following pregnancy. This is because the uterus stretches the muscles in the abdomen to accommodate your growing baby.

As the belly expands during pregnancy, the connective tissue gets stretched out, allowing the rectus abdominis to pull apart and separate vertically down the middle. (Pregnancy hormones also play a role by relaxing the connective tissue to accommodate your growing baby.)

Sometimes the tissue heals, and the muscles come back together after delivery when hormone levels return to pre-pregnancy levels. But if this healing doesn't occur within six months postpartum, a gap can develop that won't close without treatment. Studies show that about 40 percent of women have a diastasis at six months postpartum.

Our SFL coaching team includes a highly experienced post-natal corrective exercise specialist who has helped dozens of women heal their diastasis recti. Testimonials from grateful members share their stories of healing, becoming pain-free, and even avoiding surgery.
